NTT DoCoMo Has Announced A Slim Smartphone Android


Japan's NTT DoCoMo launched the NEC Medias N-04C, Android-powered smartphone is said to be the thinnest phone with Android. Millimetres thick Medias NEC N-04C is thinner than the Samsung S Galaxy II and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, both of which measure about 9 mm in its thinnest point.

Media Advisory N-04C has a 4-inch screen is 127 mm in height and 62 mm wide and weighs 105 grams. The smartphone is based on version 2.2 of Android and get an upgrade to version 2.3 later this year, according to DoCoMo.

Other features include a portfolio of mobile smartphones, 5 megapixel camera and support for digital terrestrial television.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi and HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access).

NTT DoCoMo has also announced it would begin shipping the LG 3.0 Optimus Android-based tablet Pad from next month.

The company has not disclosed the price of the phone.
